 Good rack but can't handle a full cord, By Josh Anderson (Tucson, Az United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: 1 Cord Woodhaven Firewood Rack and Cover If you look closely at the dimensions they say it is 4' X 16' X 14". That comes to a total of about 75 cubic feet. A true cord of firewood is 4' X 4' X 8' or a total of 128 cubic feet. I usually purchase a cord of firewood at a time and was expecting this to be able to hold the delivery of wood that I purchased. It was not. The directions also say to not stack the wood above the top of the side rails. So in the end I still have about a half cord of wood stacked on the ground behind the rack... If you are looking for a rack to hold a half cord, this is a great rack and I would recommend it. But, if you want to stack a full cord, you would have to get two of these... |
