I have an enormous amount of hardwood that must be split and stored. I have 6 of these (so far) and 2 metal racks and find these to be superiour and more stable. I would recommend these to anyone.

Keep in mind you have to supply the pressure-treated 2x4 lumber to complete this rack. But it still turns out to be cost-efficient and sturdier than some flimsy metal racks that cost twice as much. Some tips: use 3-inch high scrap lumber, a brick or concrete block as a third leg in the middle of the rack if you go 8 feet long. Otherwise 2x4s may sag under the weight of heavy logs. I also used scrap pieces of lumber as braces across the vertical 2x4s. This is good if you are going to stack at least 4 feet or higher. And it beats having to buy a second rack kit.
This rack kit is priced right but the shipping costs nearly made it a deal-breaker for me.

Great product. Utilizing several used 2 x 4s sitting around the house, made a two level firewood rack(36" high). To make it usable year around, I cut a spare piece of 3/8" plywood, screwed to the up rights to form an outdoor bar for parties. Simply remove the screws, back in service as a two shelf firewood rack.
