So I basically bought this log carrier to help my back out, and for that purpose it works very well. It's much easier to load it up and not have to pack wood by hand in separate trips. The package arrived, box-inside-a-box, well packed, and all parts were there. BUT--and this is the BIG BUT--when I opened the box, there was a smell of spray paint that filled my den and was so strong that I literally had to put the open box on the front porch overnight to get the stink out of it. It seemed to me that they had spray painted the parts, then immediately boxed them --and locked in all of that paint odor in the process. I have never had a package with this strong of a smell inside of it before. Also, one of the parts already had a thin coating of rust on it, nothing that spray paint won't fix but you'd think they would have better quality... It tips back and rolls so easily while carrying about 150 pounds of wood that even I can push it uphill with no problem. It comes with a sturdy vinyl cover for protecting your wood from the elements if you leave it outside. Ours sits just inside the garage. This is definitely a convenient little helper.
